4. Indianapolis Becomes The Exorcist

If your child starts walking up walls, speaking in threatening tones to well-meaning doctors or hurling objects around the room with their mind, start running. Latoya Ammons chose not to run when her family were seemingly terrorised by demons in 2014. She wanted to get to the bottom of it and called for an exorcism.

Neighbours, friends and even the police believed Ammons had fabricated the tale in an attempt to gain publicity and make money. When police captain Charles Austin made a few visits to the family home, he realised the gravity of Latoya's claims and realised she wasn't bluffing. Austin, just like Ammons, believed the family kids were possessed by demonic spirits.

One 9-year old sported a "weird grin" and walked backwards up a wall. Another child testified that they'd heard voices warning them they'd never see their family again and would be dead within 20 minutes. Even writing this is causing toilet roll sales to soar.

Leave us alone, Linda Blair!
