All through human history similar dream imagery has popped up around the world with no clear answer as to why. It's a mystery that is both creepy and confounding, making for the perfect horror recipe.

Two versions of 'This Man' exist. There's the Creepypasta and the website aptly titled thisman.org. Both of which are pretty much the same.

According to the two sources, since 2006 thousands of people have claimed to see the exact same man in their dreams. No one knows who he is and, even weirder, not a single man alive has been recognize as looking like his portrait. He seems to be everywhere, yet nowhere at the same time.

The creepiest thing is that his existence, fictional or not, is able to tap into our most primal subconscious fear of the unknown. Is he friend or foe? Even if he doesn't exist, it feels like he could. There are so many things in the universe outside our perception that the possibility of this being true is uncomfortably high.
