When Jim Templeton was out walking in Solway Firth in Cumbria in 1964, he took a photo of his young daughter in a meadow, but when the film was developed, he spotted something that shouldn't be there.
What looks like an astronaut can be seen looming over Jim's daughter, but the photographer has always been adamant there was nobody else in the frame. Kodak vouched for the authenticity of the image at the time.
The so-called Solway Firth Spaceman has become one of the most famous unexplained photographs on the internet over the years, but modern day analysis suggests the weird figure was merely Jim's wife walking on ahead.
Either the experts are mistaken, or Jim wasn't telling the whole truth when he said there was nobody else in the frame while he composed this shot.
