10 Problems Only People From London Ontario Will Understand

1. Justin Bieber Was Born Here. Please Don't Hurt Us!

Justin Bieber is one of the most famous musicians in the world and not necessarily because people everywhere love his music. He's famous partly because of the fact that he has acted like an idiot for much of his career. There was a recent Comedy Central roast dedicated to ripping hte guy. Usually those are done for older people, but he's messed up enough that the 21 year old deserved it. The mere mention of his name will make a lot of people cringe while his fans would scream because the pop star is God-like to a lot of them. While Bieber is not from London in terms of living here all his life, he was born in London on March 1, 1994. He has spent a lot of time here because he's from nearby Stratford, Ontario. It's about 30 minutes away from London and only has about 30,000 people. You can basically drive through it in 15 minutes. There are stories every few months about Bieber being back home, doing something stupid and then people are all outraged that he comes back. His most recent local incident was in September 2014 when he was charged with assault and dangerous driving near Stratford. They claimed that the paparazzi caused part of the incident. He's never been charged with anything that serious to cause him to go behind bars for a long period of time, but he's an example of how things can go bad when a young person becomes really rich. Some recent local Bieber stories includ him looking at a London mansion on sale for $3 million and then there was the time he went mall shopping in London with his security guard while he wore a onesie. Yeah that's right, it was a big story when Justin Bieber was shopping in our mall. Why is he wearing a onesie anyway? We don't know. Most Canadians, especially those of us from the area, are happy that he's in America on a more regular basis. You would think having one of the most famous musicians in the world coming from our area would be considered a good thing, but it's really not. It's not like I hate London, Ontario. It's where I have lived my whole life and I'd be okay if I stayed here forever, but everybody has problems even those of us in fake London.
