10 Problems Only People From London Ontario Will Understand
10. Train Tracks Are In The Worst Spots Possible
Whoever designed the city hundreds of years ago did a terrible job. We all know that trains are necessary for any city because it's a quicker way to move things along. However, when you set up trains to across major roads and delay traffic at random times during the day then you made a colossal mistakes. There are some bridges in the city, but not a lot. If you want to go from north to south in the city chances are you're going to pass the train tracks on one of the streets and if there's a train coming through you have no choice. Everybody that lives here probably has a horrible train story or two. The placing of it is so bad. It wouldn't be a surprise if there was a police car, ambulance or fire truck that was stuck behind the train while they needed to get somewhere quickly because of where the tracks go in the city. There was a time when I had a job interview and I left so I could be there about 30 minutes early. This train was going for like 15 minutes, then it just stopped and some technician had to come fix it. After freaking out about it, I parked and had to run to get to the interview. I got there with a few minutes to spare, but by the time I got there it was tough to stay composed or hide the fact that it was a strenuous time to get there. To help prove the point, here's an eight minute video showing a train by Richmond Street, which is in the downtown part of the city. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8HSr7rtfgY These kinds of delays happen all throughout the day and people hate it.
