After skating all day you get home and relax, then you realise that there is an unshakable ache in your feet. Except it is not a negative feeling or a painful sensation. It is a sort of pain that it telling you that you have skated well. It€™s odd that this pain is something that is strangely gratifying. The soles of your feet can feel bruised and injured, but you will continue to ride because this pain is part of the reason everyone loves skateboarding. It is your body congratulating you on pushing yourself to your limits. Others may get this feeling from going to the gym or practising some other sport, but we all know that skateboarding is different. It€™s not always the same part of the body that hurts; old injuries flare up, and new ones are caused on a daily basis.
