10 Really Annoying Things About Every New iPhone Release

9. One Year Warranty

For anyone who has ever visited an Apple store for a phone repair, they are pretty helpful. The service is mostly excellent, quick and easy - once you make your appointment online of course - don't go forgetting to do that now. That can be said for the first year, but what about when you have a two-year contract with your network provider? It's usually the case on your expensive piece of smartphone kit that the warranty will run out half way through. And it's sod's law that once that warranty runs out on your Apple product, the device almost immediately breaks down and needs some TLC. But it's heartbreaking that the required attention is something that you're not able to give. Going to see somebody at the 'Genius' bar will likely occur at some point over your contract, but if it's out of warranty, the chances are that you'll need to pay an extra £100 at least on top of what you're already paying to get it sorted. It's either that or you should go ahead and buy additional AppleCare for your phone to eliminate the risk. What? That doesn't come cheap either?!
