Anne was accused of having illicit affairs with five different men. Her relationships with these men vary from having them in her chambers to barely talking to them at all. Whether the affairs happened or not will never be known but it's hard to believe that she would say barely two words to a man and then hop into bed with him.

With one man, Henry Norris (a close friend of Henry’s), she was accused of planning to kill the king, have a baby with him and place the child on the throne. Mad, I know, and a ridiculous plan that would never work but people at the time lapped it up. With the rest she was just said to have had a raunchy affair, meeting on several occasions for sexual liaisons.

The only man that admitted to having an affair was Mark Smeaton, a musician. Why he did this was because he thought King Henry VIII would be merciful. Oh Mark, what a fool you were!
