Towards the end of the 17th century, a pale but beautiful woman and a young man arrived in Salem to board the Noah’s Dove ship which was to depart for England. People in the area stayed away from the couple as they feared they might be demons. Their fears were seemingly cemented when the ship’s flag was hoisted and a raven landed on the town clock at the same time, pushing the time forward by ten minutes.

Not long after her departure from Salem, the ship sailed right into the path of a fierce hurricane and sank. However, four days later, the sun shone again after the storm passed and to everyone’s amazement, the Noah’s Dove came sailing back to port directly into the wind without being held back by it.

The strange couple were standing on board the ship but they seemed lifeless. Suddenly as people watched, the ship’s masts dropped and she disappeared beneath the waves yet again. This time seemingly for good.
