10 Staggeringly Absurd Conspiracy Theories

1. 9/11 - An Inside Job!

Screen Shot 2013 11 10 At 18 38 44The Theory The George W Bush administration either had intelligence that terrorists were planning to attack America and allowed it to happen in order to gain support for a War on Terror that would allow them to steal Middle Eastern oil, or the government planned and executed the attacks themselves. The Proof The buildings fell at too quickly a speed and too neat a fashion to be anything other than a controlled demolition. Puffs of smoke indicated the TNT bundles used in controlled demolitions are visible before the tower falls, and a skyscraper should fall outwards rather than implode. People inside the building heard explosions before the towers fell, and jet fuel fires wouldn't bring the tower down by themselves. It all points to an inside job. The Truth When faced with a blow inflicted by a relatively small foe, it is often easy to disbelieve what is seen by your own eyes, and insist that greater and more powerful forces must be in operation. 9/11 was a terrible tragedy and, with the advent of rolling news and the internet age, the collapsing Twin Towers will be one of the images that defines a generation. To claim that the towers fell too quickly or orderly is nonsensical. As the first tower collapses, you can clearly see debris falling outwards. It takes both towers 15-20 seconds to collapse completely, far less time than they would in a controlled explosion. They imploded because of the weakness in the design of the steel girders supporting the structure. The puffs of smoke, and the explosions heard within, is due to the tower starting to disintegrate and metal stressing and snapping. I only ask one question to people who insist 9/11 was an inside job by the government. For a cover-up of this magnitude, incorporating many government officials, civil servants, trained pilots, the military and/or emergency services or anti-terrorist units, there simply has to exist a money trail or paper trail. Where are they? Sometimes the enemy of decency is small but powerful. Never forget those who died on 9/11, but respect their memories by not buying into such nonsense.

I am a freelance writer, currently residing in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. I was raised by wolves in the woodlands of Northumberland, but am still posher than Colin Firth having dinner with The Queen. I write all of my pieces by swallowing a cocktail of scrabble tiles and vodka, then regurgitating them over my jotter. Hope this explains the typos.
