6. Hit The Most Popular House First

If you are making the most of Stay and Scream you might want to try hitting that year's most popular house first.

Universal has a number of Stay and Scream areas which when opened are directed to particular houses. Choose your area based on which house you want to hit first.

For us, we decided to head to the Stranger Things house first. We had a feeling that this would be the most in demand house and so decided to use Stay and Scream as a way to get through this one before all the crowds entered the park. This meant waiting in the New York area of the park. Should we have wanted to go to a house that were at the back of the park then Springfield would have been our waiting area.

When we were released from our area and directed to Stranger Things we only waited around 30 minutes to enter the house, by the time we exited the wait time was at least 90 minutes.

This is why getting into the park before the park shuts for HHN can be so important. That night Stranger Things didn't drop below 60 minutes wait, while with Stay and Scream we only needed to queue for half of that.
