Heres how a typical booking call can go at a dog groomers: Hello, I would like to book my three Huskies in to get groomed. Today would be preferable Im afraid we dont have any appointments for three weeks How about tomorrow then? It seems some people believe there is a secret code that all dog groomers abide by: always persistently ask if there are any earlier appointments available than the one offered, eventually the groomer will admire your inability to accept the date given, and squeeze your dog in somewhere.
