Fact: It’s called a comfort zone for a reason, mostly because it’s nice and cosy and doesn’t require much effort on your part to work out.

Which is all very well when you have the perfect circle of friends, constantly at your beck and call, never too busy to meet up, adventurous enough to give that extreme spinning class a go…

Which you don’t. Let’s be real here. You adore our friends to bits and you’d never, ever have a word said against them. But this does not make them perfect, not by a long stretch. Not unless by spinning you mean the 360 degree pirouette that ends with your BFF kissing the tarmac after one tequila shot too many.

Moral: Don’t automatically exclude new people because you’re comfortable with your current circle. At the very least, there’s no such thing as too many friends. At most, the noob might turn out to be someone exciting.
