If you set yourself a target, it will give you something to aim for and the sense of accomplishment you'll feel afterwards will make all of your hard work seem worth it. If you're wanting to become a stronger runner then sign up for a half marathon and then focus on completing a full one later on. Just by having something to aim for will give you the motivation you need to turn off Netflix and train.
