A famous urban legend contends that Walt had his body cryogenically frozen and stored beneath the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland. Is Walt waiting for the right time to return from the grave and bring the world more family-friendly entertainment? The answer is no, no he isnt. Walt's family denies that Walt is hibernating in the bowels of Disneyland. In actuality, Walt's remains were cremated. Its also important to note that the first case of human cryogenic freezing occurred a full month after Walt passed away. The urban legend allegedly started with a group of Walt's animators who wanted to prank their deceased boss. This bogus legend tops our list of things Walt would want us to forget because its completely false. There are other, true, skeletons hidden in Walt's closet. One thing is for certain: Disney left a lasting legacy as a producer of some of the most beloved and well-received films of all time.
