With this podcast being the first to air since the news broke that Joe has signed a historic deal rumoured to be worth upwards of 100 million dollars to eventually make the JRE a Spotify-exclusive show, it's clear just how much of a cultural phenomenon the podcast has become in the decade since it's inception.

Joe isn't the only Gen X celebrity to make a living talking to interesting people though, as Tony reveals that he hosted his own show, Demolition Radio, on Sirius XM for over ten years, and even attempted to get Joe to appear on several occasions to no avail.

However, Tony does note that he ended his career on the air with back to back episodes with Pharell Williams and Seth Rogan. Which, all things considered, is a pretty great way to call time on your career as a broadcaster.
