2. Hawk Still Skates Nearly Every Day

It is not uncommon to hear an athlete become burnt-out about a former passion after their competitive career has come to an end. Big-name sportspeople often decide to pursue other ventures, and particularly when they are as commercially successful as the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series has been, it would be hard to blame Birdman if he had decided to hang up his wheels after becoming a bonafide mainstream celebrity.

However, this couldn't be further from the case.

Hawk is clearly still passionate about the sport he has dedicated his life to, telling Joe that he still skates multiple times a week, and revealing that he has been working on a series of vert videos during the global situation where he and other skating pros take turns inventing new tricks on the mega ramp located in Hawk's California office.
