Many who visit Walt Disney World have no idea that you can camp there. Guests can bring with them anything from a tent to a huge RV.

There are also cabins located within the grounds of Fort Wilderness, perfect if you want to feel at one with nature without sleeping in a tent.

Known for its community atmosphere, Fort Wilderness Campgrounds really comes to life at Christmas. Those staying here love to get into the holiday spirit and go all out decorating their campsite.

Fort Wilderness is classed as a Moderate Resort and there are lots of recreation activities to enjoy. There's swimming pools, archery and lots of other activities to try.

Located close to the Wilderness Lodge hotel, it's just a short bus or boat ride to the Magic Kingdom.
