10 Things You Didn't Know You Could Do At Walt Disney World

2. Go To A Dinner Show

Many who visit Walt Disney World have no idea that there are three different dinner shows that you can see; Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, Spirit of Aloha and Mickey's Backyard Barbecue

Hoop-Dee-Doo is a western themed show at the Fort Wilderness Resort. Lasting around 2 hours, the musical extravaganza allows guests to feel like they have entered a family friendly western vaudeville show. Diners can also enjoy all you care to eat food (typical western faire) and drink. Held indoors, it can be a welcome break from the humid Florida evenings. The seating cost is dependent on where you sit in the theatre and start at $64 for adults.

Disney's Spirit of Aloha dinner show invites you to a luau at the Polynesian Village Resort. Watch traditional dancers and fire-knife demonstrations from the well trained cast members. Food is all you care to eat and even though there are more traditional foods on offer, there are hot dogs and pizza for the picky eaters in your group. Similar to Hoop-Dee-Doo prices start at $64 per adult depending on where you choose to sit.

Probably the most kid-friendly of all the dinner shows is Mickey's Backyard Barbecue. This dining experience is a hoedown with Disney characters. Kids can dance with Minne Mouse and get their photos taken with Chi & Dale. The food is again all you care to eat and is as the name suggests all food from the BBQ.

There is no tiered seating at this dinner show as guests all sit on long tables. This does mean that you don't get your own table, which is something to keep in mind. It is also the cheapest dinner show at between $35 and $59.99.
