10 Things You Didn't Know You Could Do With Apple Music

6. Sharing Playlists

Apple Music
iTunes

One of the issues with iTunes has always been the difficulty that users face in creating, exporting, or sharing their playlists. Users have had difficulty syncing their playlists to Spotify, for example, or even just sending the data to a friend without exporting a file - which can be more hit and miss than we should really expect from an Apple product.

Apple Music seems, then, to offer a solution for sharing playlists from one user to another. When users head to their playlists option under the 'My Music' section, three little dots will greet them at the right hand side of each playlist name. Tapping those presents users with an array of options, and one of them includes 'Share Playlist' - this will let users send a link to the playlist to their friends via the usual social media means: Message, Mail, Twitter, Facebook, or any other third party app you have allowed to access your music.

Unfortunately, while sharing playlists between Apple users has become easier, there is no known way at the time of writing to move playlists from Tidal or Spotify into Apple Music, so users will have to schedule a timeslot in their day to manually manage their music, or allow Apple's auto-selection to do it for them.
