Your friends will be the main culprits for your new nicknames you'll get, like Poison Apple (if you have bright red hair) or Oompa Loompa (if you've decided to go full-on orange), but they're not the only ones.
When people are going to talk about you, they're going to classify you as "that girl with the rainbow-coloured hair" or "that guy with the green hair", because it will be something that stands out. You'll no longer be "the short one" or "the cute one", or whatever your current nickname might be.
If you really don't like the idea of that, then perhaps go for a full makeover and dress to compliment your new hair colour. Perhaps wear clothes that match the colour of your hair or change your makeup. If you're going to dress in all-black or all-beige (for example), then your hair will automatically be the main focus.
