It's something that's not really touched upon at the end of Deathly Hallows, especially since there's an epilogue that shows how everything works out pretty well nineteen years later. But nineteen years is a long time, so it's not all that surprising that fans would wonder... did the gang make their way back to Hogwarts to finish their NEWTS and graduate? Well... yes and no. It's fairly obvious which of the trio went back the witch of the trio. As for the other two, well, according to Rowling, they decided against it. Ron specifically was really done with schooling, despite the temptation to go back for a year just to mess around. Didn't stop them getting great jobs that supposedly required qualifications somehow though did it?
