When an astronaut needs to go in space, then they need to go - but where do they put all the urine? Well... they simply throw it overboard into the infinite area that is space around them. As soon as the urine is thrown out of the shuttle then it instantly freezes into millions of tiny crystals which then float around space - something astronauts have described as a "beautiful sight". Fear not though, it seems things are progressing in the soon-to-be civilised world of space travel. A urine-recycling system - which turns wee into drinkable water - has been installed at the International Space Station. No more p****ing in the street then...
