They've been and gone on two occasions now - but ice cream Chewits are once again a thing of the past. Cloetta has trialled many different flavours along the years - but when the company decided to have a product-wide re-design in 2009, the varieties brought back were strawberry, blackcurrant, fruit salad, cola, orange and ice cream. However, fans of the almost sickeningly-sweet ice cream flavour were left devastated for a second time as they were discontinued a couple of years ago. Cloetta needs to alter there slogan - it appears they are the ones who have "bitten off more than they can chew" - and on at least two occasions!
