She first found fame on the big screen as Tracy Turnblad, the hair-raising star of 2007's remake of the hit musical Hairspray. Later, she made her small screen debut on the 2010 TV series Huge, but now Nikki Blonsky isn't quite the star fans thought she was destined to be. Blonsky trained in cosmetology and is now styling hair for the stars in a New York salon. It's ironic that the very thing that started her fame also marks the end of it. Unfortunately for the young star, the choice to return to a day job was more of a necessity than a choice. She tweeted:
