Anthony Miller was a desperate man so he turned to the only logical option he could think of in order to escape his horrible wife; he was going to rob a bank and get himself arrested. Miller was so desperate to leave his unhappy marriage that he robbed a bank in order to get sent to jail so he wouldn't have to be with her. He robbed the bank calmly without threatening anyone, he didn't wear a mask and he also had an unloaded gun. After he was given the money, he waited until the police arrived, constantly asking the tellers if they had been called. When they arrived he went with them without a fight and later told them about his controlling wife had threatened to commit suicide if he ever left her. He received a prison sentence and a divorce.
