Apple founder Steve Wozniak's departure from Apple in 1987 is well-documented. Wozniak had a distaste for managing, as his true passion laid with engineering. He had also grown to hate the company, claiming that Apple was the "bane of his existence." Despite ending full-time employment, Wozniak is still technically an employee of Apple. He receives a stipend that's estimated to be around $120,000 every year, and remains one of the company's major stockholders.
