2. Carl Sagan Once Sued Apple

Carl Sagan wasn't happy when he found out that Apple engineers were using a piece of code within the Power Macintosh that was also named "Carl Sagan." He claimed that his endorsement was not for sale, even though the name wasn't being used in a commercial fashion. Regardless, the engineers changed "Carl Sagan" to "BHA," which apparently stood for the very mature "Butt-Head Astronomer." Sagan brought forward a defamation case to the District Court, but was unsuccessful.
