1. The iMac G4 Was Designed To Look Like A Male's Genitals
According to Leander Kahney's biography of Jony Ive, Apple's designers specifically had the male genitals in mind when designing the iMac G4. More specifically, it was intended to look like a cock and balls when first opening up the product's box. The ball-shaped speakers were purposefully placed on either side of the monitor's 'stem,' giving a very distinct initial impression.
