11 Weirdest Beauty Contests Throughout The World

10. Miss Plastic Hungary

Ever thought about going under the knife for some plastic surgery? What was once popular among A-list celebs has become common practice among us regular folk. There are now Botox parties that have become as commonplace as trading dishware with friends. Yes, even you too can have the perfect Botox birthday party. It's a thing. However, if you want to go above and beyond, there's a place for that, too. The rewards are quite sweet as well. In fact, plastic surgery has become so common worldwide that there are now even beauty pageants for it, like the Miss Plastic Hungary, held in Budapest in 2009. Most beauty contests discourage or even disqualify contestants who have undergone plastic surgery; Miss Plastic Hungary required that each contestant have undergone plastic surgery. The contestants had to be Hungarian, between the ages of 19 and 38, and had to have undergone at least one plastic surgery. Boobs, behind, nose €“ any one plastic surgery was fine. The first place plastic-worn woman won a cushy luxury of an apartment in exotic Budapest. The second and third place winner received a car, and took home approximately $10,000 dollars in pricy jewelry. If you thought that the winners' surgeons got snubbed for all their hard work, think again. Their work on the top three winners was surveyed by the judges; they also got upscale gifts for their prime handiwork. Be forewarned though; before you hop onto the operating table though, be forewarned that Miss Plastic Hungary hasn't taken place since 2009.
