Make way! Not for ducklings, but rather for grown devilishly dapper ducks. This particular pageant, the Pied Piper Duck Show takes place in Sydney, Australia every year. The feathered fashion show is a mere part of the larger, two-week long Sydney Royal Easter Show which garners hundreds of thousands of spectators. While their costumes are individualized, several ducks may be wearing similar period dresses at the same time. Take a gander at some the pictures here, to see what all the feathered fuss is about. Of course, there are food stalls for the humans too, both handlers and onlookers. The snacks range from baked potatoes, milkshakes, and steak sandwiches to roast duck. Hopefully, that's not where the least favorite ducks go. This glorious procession is the brainchild of the unique acts organiser Brian Harrington, who has run the contest and events. He has also constructed other animal events, like the one where pigs play rounds of musical chairs. The ducks have their own dressmaker who creates and tailors the ducks outfits to a certain period time. The ducks may don at any time various outfits, including casual day outfits, more dazzling evening outfits, and even charming wedding attire. This pageant is clearly no quack.
