7. The 10th US President's Grandkids Are Still Alive
John Tyler was the 10th President of the United States, and was already in his fifties when he took to office. Tyler had a son, Lyon Gardiner Tyler in 1853, at the age of 62, who in turn had two sons Lyon Gardiner Jnr, and Harrison, who were born in 1924 and 1928 respectively, when Lyon Snr would have been between the age of 70 and 74. Both Lyon Jnr. and Harrison are still alive today, meaning that despite only featuring three generations, the Tyler family has bridged 224 years. To put that in perspective, every single American President to date has been in office during the lifetime of three generations of the Tyler family.
6. Will Smith Has Become Uncle Phil
In The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air, it is revealed that Uncle Phil was born on the 30th of January 1945, which, when the show first began in 1990 would put the patriarchal character at 45 years old. Will Smith's character/Will Smith was a sprightly 22 year old. Fast forward to the present day, and although James Avery, the man behind Uncle Phil is no longer with us, Will Smith has finally caught up to his character at the age of 45. If that doesn't make you feel like you childhood was centuries ago, I don't know what will.
