Hang around, boys, this one is for the fellas too.

The most we usually hear about the pelvic floor is that it's something women should exercise to stop themselves piddling their pants with every sneeze. With the correct exercises, however, the power of the pelvic floor can be harnessed in the pursuit of the perfect orgasm.

A strong pelvic floor will contribute to much stronger, more powerful orgasms, and it's even possible for women to get themselves off just doing the exercises themselves. In men, a strong pelvic floor can even make you last longer in bed (it is often used to treat premature ejaculation), making orgasms more powerful and satisfying once reached.

To exercise the pelvic floor, you first need to find the right muscles. The easiest way to do this is, next time you go for a pee, stop yourself mid-stream. It is these muscles that you want contract in order to exercise the pelvic floor.

You don't need to do this whilst peeing, you can do your exercises anywhere you like - at work, in bed, on the bus - just be wary of the fact that it can give you a somewhat vacant expression, so try not to accidentally stare down a stranger on your morning commute whilst you're working your pelvic floor - it can freak people out.
