12 Hacks For A Mind-Blowing Sex Life
4. Get Symmetrical
Okay, so this isn't something you can particularly help, but studies have shown that women are more likely to orgasm when having sex with a more, er, symmetrical partner.
In 1995, a biologist (who was rather appropriately named Randy Thornhill), questioned 86 young couples on their sexual habits, including how often the female partner orgasmed during sex. The males were then physically assessed to ascertain how symmetrical their bodies were.
Amazingly, neither the male’s age, wealth, social skills, physical attractiveness or relationship style could indicate how often his partner orgasmed, nearly as often or as accurately as how symmetrical he was in both his face and body.
It was thought for a while that maybe more sexually inclined women - that is, the ones more likely to seek regular orgasms - would simply go for the hotter (read: more symmetrical) guys, but when they looked at orgasmic frequency outside of sex (i.e. masturbation and oral sex) the relationship between symmetry and orgasm disappeared.
This study was only carried out between straight couples, so it's not very useful for anyone outside of that particular, heteronormative category. That said, it's probably not all that useful for blokes anyway, unless you plan on getting surgery to match your left and right up perfectly.
But for the ladies: that guy with the perfectly symmetrical face is gonna rock your world.
