5. 'When Will You Be On The TV?'

When you're travelling home late at night after the back-slapping from your fellow comics for 'killing it!' and your imagination kicks in helping you believe your comedy career will soar - from Dog and Duck Open Mic Night to Live At The Apollo. Okay, so let's be realistic progression maybe isn't going to be that quick and easy but you do wish everyone would stop asking you this question and let you finish your long, slow, painful journey to the top in your own time.

4. 'Have You Met My Mate Dave? He's Hilarious'

At any party or social occasion you're pushed to sit as close as possible to the other well-known 'funny guy'. Your satirical, intelligent and thought-provoking retorts just don't match up to the greatness of Dave's Best Fart Jokes. He's killing it and you're supposed to the professional here!
