2. Eat Something Inappropriate Whenever You Want
Ever had that hungover hankering for a completely random food? It doesn't matter what it is - pizza, ice cream, a strange omelette filled with parmesan cheese and anchovies? You know those moments when they come, and even when there's no alcohol involved, sometimes you just crave a food at a seemingly inappropriate mealtime. After all, who's ever heard of people snacking on Ben & Jerry's for breakfast, or a full English at 10pm at night after work? While there's plenty of reasons not to eat whenever you want - see every fad diet in at least sixty percent of magazines - sometimes you just need to unleash your inner silly child and go crazy food wise. Is it a little bit of a guilty pleasure? Absolutely. You shouldn't be eating nothing but pizza and whipped cream for the rest of your life, no matter how nice they taste. But indulging once in a while in your crazy cravings is a silly, bold, fun way to improve your day. Have a decadent cupcake at your desk, or have your favourite coffee in the late hours, no matter how sugary or caffeine-laden it might be. It might not be more than a vaguely sophisticated version of your student days, waking up to cold pizza for breakfast and savouring it, but it's one of life's most refreshing pleasures. Now go eat what exactly what you want for a change - and you'll be happier for it.
