1. Lip Sync To Your Favourite Song Wherever You Are
Yes, this is an oldie, but a goodie, and it's something that everyone should be doing a lot more of. Lip-syncing isn't just for popstars or talent hopeful wannabes, anyone can do it - and does (let's not pretend anyone's avoided lip-sync-singing into a hairbrush with their favourite song). Quite why we're not doing it more and more is a mystery - social norms and propriety be damned. Singing and dancing release endorphins, you feel better, look better... there isn't a downside. It doesn't matter where you do it - okay, maybe some places like a cemetery or just before a job interview are best left quiet and respectful - but in your day to day life, there's bound to be snippets of time when you can just pop in your earbuds and prepare to lose yourself to some banging beats, soaring choruses, and questionably amazing ad-libs. No one can criticise you for it - and if they do, chances are they're probably miserable as hell that they don't have the confidence to do it in public. It can be daunting and scary at first, but repeating it on a regular basis can be hugely beneficial to your self-esteem, to your mental attitude, and to the way you treat and approach your days. Is it really just about mouthing along to song lyrics? Well, yes, but it's also not. It's about daring to have fun, owning your weird, wonderful, maybe sometimes cheesy musical taste, and feeling infinitely better as a result, something silly yet simple that will hopefully make today a much better day.
