Leather is one of those fabrics that looks great on, it's great for any season, but it can be a nightmare to keep blemish free. The slightest scratch is visible from miles away and can be very expensive to remove.

Now, this doesn't mean you can't use your leather bag when you've just had your nails done, because there's a cheap and easy way of getting rid of marks on leather. Granted this technique wouldn't get rid of the talcum powder and baby cream on Ross' leather pants in that infamous Friends episode, but if you're favourite leather jacket or bag has a small scratch on it then try this:

Get a tea towel and dab on some Vaseline, about the size of a 20p depending on the size of your scratch, take this to the scratch on your leather and rub into it, don't rub too hard just lightly and in circular motions and you should find the scratch will lift right out.
