9. Cameron Left His Eight-Year-Old Daughter At The Pub For 15 Minutes... Showing A Worryingly-Short Memory Span
One of the most bizarre new stories during Cameron's five-year term as Prime Minister has been arguably his own greatest blunder - leaving his own daughter behind in the pub. Cameron, his wife Samantha and their three children - then-eight-year-old Nancy, six-year-old Arthur and 22-month-old Florence - were enjoying a drink at the Plough Inn at Cadsden, Buckinghamshire, on a Sunday in June 2012. However, when Cameron left the pub to return to the PM's country residence, Chequers, neither he nor the rest of his family realised that Nancy had not come with them. It took more than 15minutes before anyone realised - and then Sam Cam returned to the pub to find Nancy helping staff clear up. If Cameron can forget his daughter it begs the question - what else can slip the Prime Minister's mind?
