8. Chet Baker Jr (May 13, 1988) - Doped-Up Badboy Jazz Musician Jumps To His Death On Friday 13th
Chesney "Chet" Baker Jr was an American jazz musician who excelled on the trumpet, the flugelhorn, as well as boasting a majestic voice. However, Baker Jr was also a well-known drug addict who had regular brushes with the law. In fact, during the 1960s and 1970s, Baker Jr was in and out of prison - serving a year inside on drug charges in Italy before being expelled from West Germany and Britain for drug-related offences. It is perhaps unsurprising then that when Baker Jr was found dead on the street at Prins Hendrikkade, in Amsterdam, Holland, on Friday May 13, 1968, he was drugged up to the eyeballs. Discovered on the street below his second-story room at the Hotel Prins Hendrik, Baker Jr had suffered fatal head wounds - and both heroin and cocaine were later discovered by his bed. The death was officially ruled as an accident, and no foul play was deemed to have been involved.
