Dormer has proved that she is a woman of many talents as not only has she conquered the worlds of academia, sports, and acting (all whilst looking incredibly flawless), she also trained as a mezzo soprano singer and still performs on stage when she finds the time. Ultimately, her passion lies in acting and she states:
"I know people think that acting is not quite the occupation of grown-ups, but it is actually the ultimate learning process: You get a multitude of experiences, all for the price of one life."
Being an experienced actor must have helped her with her poker face when she came second in the 2008 PartyPoker.com Women's World Open in London.
