13 Things You Didn't Know About Stephen King
5. He Is An Actor
Granted Stephen King''s acting chops are not what made him a household name, but his bit-parts in a range of great films and TV shows provide an extra level of Easter egg enjoyment and, often, an additional level of meta-fiction.
While most of his parts amount to walk-ons and cameos (frequently in film adaptations of his own works), he has 25 acting credits to his name, including parts in Sons of Anarchy, Kingdom Hospital and Frasier.
A particular highlight came in 2019's It Chapter Two, where King played an obnoxious pawn shop owner who charges James McAvoy's Bill Denbrough (and King surrogate - tortured writer, etc etc) an exorbitant amount of money to purchase back his childhood bicycle, Silver.
