9. Go To Where Your Crush Is
No matter what your sexual preference is, it is often daunting to get yourself ready to go outside and... mingle. And if you don't make an effort to meet new people it's hardly likely that they're going to turn up at your front door and ask to be your friend, or that they're already waiting in your bed-fort where you prefer to spend much of your day. So go out, do what real people do, and when you do get out there, don't just awkwardly stare at the person you fancy as you'll look like a creeper.
