14 Most Haunted Objects From Around The World

1. Annabelle The Doll

Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, with a big pile of nope. The movie The Conjuring was based on a true story and that's all you need to know. No thank you, please. The story (or the truth?) takes us back to the 1970s where a mother bought the doll from a charity shop for her daughter. Her daughter was studying to be a nurse where she lived with one of her college friends, and then it gets scary. The doll had the ability to move about on its own; it would end up in different rooms, different positions and one time, it was standing on its legs, unsupported. The girls were coming home to handwritten notes in strange, childish writing on paper that they didn't even own which read 'help us,' and then blood would start appearing on the doll. Time to call the Ghostbusters, well, some paranormal investigators at the least. They held a seance where they found out about Annabell Higgins, a seven year old girl who had moved into the doll after she was murdered. Upon hearing this, the girls agreed that she could stay with them. But then things got worse. One of their friends was attacked by some force and had scratch marks all over his chest and this is where Ed and Lorraine Warren come in. They are paranormal investigators and they discovered that Annabell didn't exist, but a malevolent demon did. They claimed that the demonic spirit was using the girls to get close to them in order to possess them. Since this realisation, Annabell has been locked away in a glass case with a warning written underneath. "Warning: Positively do not open." Some people have claimed that they have seen the doll move or growl at them. If you have any ghost stories you'd like to share them comment in the thread below. If you own any creepy dolls or paintings, you have been warned.
