And by change at Cornbrook we mean spend at least 24 minutes pondering the physics of how it manages to be at least 25% colder, bleaker and more hostile here than in the rest of Manchester. Nothing good happens at Cornbrook. And while we're on the subject, what actually is Cornbrook? It's not quite Castlefield and it's not really Hulme either, Ordsall is over the water so it's not that. Was Cornbrook just made up so we had a name for the station between Deansgate and Trafford Bar? Heres a drones-eye-view of Cornbrook. You'll notice nothing good happens.
