9. "The First Three Miles Are Always The Hardest"

It's always harder to get something started than it is to finish it and having said that, the beginning of your run always take more motivation that the last half. Race day will be no different but you'll probably be a lot more motivated by the thousands of other people who are running beside you. Unfortunately there is no way around is except to keep running; just channel your best Forrest Gump.
