5. Dirt May Not Be Swept From One's House Into The Street (Eagle, Idaho)
All dirt must either be kept inside the home or transported from house to your bin in the street. No dust must touch the street, ever. It sounds a lot like that game child children play, where you pretend that the floor is made of molten lava and as a result have to travel around the room using a plethora of household objects so as not to touch the floor. It sounds stupid. To hazard a guess at why this law was created, maybe the people of Eagle were unusually dirty, clogging their houses up with tons of dust before deciding to dump it out of the front door and onto the pavement. Again, just a thought.
