4. Kisses Longer Than One Second Are Illegal (Halethorpe, Maryland)
Making long kisses illegal is, like, the ultimate form of killjoy. Whoever made this illegal was almost certainly a very lonely person. It's not even long kisses in public that are banned, it's just long kisses anywhere, at any time. It's understandable to enforce 'no heavy petting' rules at a swimming pool, where there are usually children about for example, but to put a ban on smooching altogether is absolutely crazy. And sad. If this law was actually abided by anyone which I'm guessing it isn't then Helethorpe, Maryland would be a very prude and loveless place to reside. Maybe The Grinch managed to gain some authority here. Or someone with a severe phobia of kissing, otherwise known as a virgin.
