15 Incredible Websites That Will Rule 2014

12. Reddit

Using one sentence, or even a paragraph, to fully explain Reddit is a horribly difficult task and one that I will not attempt. The brief version is that Reddit is a news aggregator that accounts for many of the web's referral traffic, and is also a thriving social community forum that covers pretty much every broad topic you can imagine. Reddit's advantage is that it has been around for quite a while. The social news site has been active since 2005, and it has managed to develop a large, loyal fanbase that some would even consider a quasi-cult. But this for good reason. Content on the site continues to be some of the most original, groundbreaking, and outright hilarious posts you'll see anywhere online. For many people, Reddit truly is the "front page of the Internet." Why It's Going To Rule...Well, it's already ruled 2013. At the end of 2013, Reddit cited a total of 56 billion page views for the year, along with 731 million unique visitors. That's up 50% from 2012, which is a good argument for why the website will likely grow even larger in 2014.
