Despite Poe's death there were still those who believed they could continue to cash in on his works - including psychic medium Lizzie Doten, who claimed to still be in contact with the writer beyond the grave... In 1863 - a full 14 years after Poe had died - Doten released "Poems from the Inner Life", which she claimed included some works which the spirit of the great writer had dictated to her. Somehow, it appears unlikely that Doten was telling the truth...
